"I have recently been searching my family history and discovered that my Great grandfather (Jesse Robert Woodward) lived at 16 Sydney Buildings, Bath. I found this information via his World War 1 Army service records. Jesse enlisted for the Great War in his 40's! (Jesse d.o.b.1875).
Jesse Robert Woodward joined the Royal Army Medical Corp in 1915 aged 40 years and was pensioned out of service in 1918. Jesse was married to Mary (nee POWELL) they had five children, four girls and one boy (Jack my Grandfather).
My Father now in his 80's can recall visiting the house as a child."
